Leica 19191 D-Lux 8 Cámara Compacta

This camera ia a little pricey but totally worth it: easy to carry around for those all day walk-abouts. I was worried only about 2 things: the size of the 4/3 sensor and image sharpness, and low light image capture...no worries! I absolutely love this camera!

The Leica D-Lux 8 is unquestionably the best value-for-money camera in the Leica family. Image quality is magnificent, with the iconic look the brand is famed for. It's not perfect, but it's the cheapest way of getting that iconic style, and that's a great thing, indeed.

I know it’s not a true Leica camera but I love this compact camera. The images are beautiful and the menus easy to navigate. The app makes it even more fun. I was looking for an everyday camera and this fit the bill. It was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.

The camera I’ve searched my entire life for. A proper Leica but small enough to take everywhere. Intuitive and excellent in every way. Also, first class service from Clifton. I hit a technical hitch and they couldn’t have been more helpful.

The Leica D-Lux 8 is decent for travel photography. It's highly portable and easy to take out and about, which is great for travel. It also has a very versatile zoom range, a relatively large sensor with a unique multi-aspect design, and sleekly designed, intuitive controls. That said, while its autofocus is fine for single shooting, it struggles to track moving subjects continuously, especially in busier settings. Its fixed screen can be a bit limiting as well, and it doesn't get overly bright to fight glare on sunny days. Finally, while overall image quality is decent, the camera struggles a bit in low light and doesn't have the widest dynamic range. Though it feels well-built and is made of premium materials, there's no weather sealing, either.
