Bosch Campana Extractora De Techo Drc97aq50

The extractor is great in the important functions, good extraction rate, great lights. However, there are two main design faults. 1. The diameter of the metal outlet/duct connection is exactly 150mm OD which is exactly the same ID of a standard plastic duct reducer connections. This means they do not fit together without duct taping the joint. Bosch should consider providing one specifically for their product. 2. The weight of the drop down door is too great for the stiffening arrangement and so it sags down causing an annoying, albeit minimal, dip in the line (see picture) which is not aesthetically pleasing. Bosch should consider adding another stiffening bar to the centre of the door to prevent this from happening. If Bosch would like to send me a new, stiffer door I woud be very grateful Apart from these two issues I am happy with the product's performance.

This hood looks great and does a really good job of extracting steam and fumes in an open plan kitchen/diner area. Work lights are handy too and the link to Alexa works well.
