it does what it is supposed to do, and the battery is long-lasting. I like that it has a radio, it's useful when you have a power outage. the only downside is that the radio is easy to turn on and can easily turn itself on when it's in your pocket whilst the device is unlocked.

I struggled in vain to find the Nokia 105 4G in South Africa (as Telkom is busy migrating their 2G and 3G voice services to 4G), but after Telkom charged my mother 3x her monthly bill due to a device having connected to the wrong WiFi router (after we were informed by Telkom that the service had been deactivated), I jumped into reactionary mode to find her a simple feature (dumb) phone that only makes calls on her Telkom Smart Voice service (basically just a SIM card that has a cellular landline number linked to it). She's extremely happy with the Nokia and has peace of mind and now can basically go out with the phone in her purse and use 3,000 minutes per month to her heart's content.

With schools rightfully banning smart phones. These are a great option for keeping in contact, such as when sports fixture is cancelled. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the multi function button is a bit finicky. Just make sure you have a mini sim adapter.
