Good Points: Excellent light strip Improvement Points: Pricey for what it is!

Good Points: Works Perfect and fast too, seems very responsive Improvement Points: Slightly short for an 85" TV, could have done with being 10cm longer each side.

Good Points: The lights were incredibly easy to set up and install. The lights are easy to control with the hue app and there is a huge range of functionality in terms of light settings, customisation and timers. Improvement Points: I was disappointed that the lights cannot connect and react to Spotify over a mobile phone. They connect to Spotify when it's used with a laptop, but that's extra faff that won't happen. It would be a massive improvement if they could be used with Spotify played on mobile devices.

Improvement Points: Bought as an extension to previously purchased Lightstrip ( also bought in 2020) this had to be returned as it has a totally diffrent connector. Design changes of connectors are a bad idea without some kind of adapter being simultabeously made available. Naughty!

Good Points: Great looking light, good colours. Extension sections are quite good value and can extend up to 10m, which is good. This version has blue tooth, so you don’t necessarily need the Hue hub. You can connect cut strips so you don’t waste them (you get one connector only with the starter kit) Improvement Points: This version has a new size of connector, so doesn’t work with v3 or earlier light strips. This isn’t clear from the info. Also, at the time of writing, it’s not possible to get any spare connectors apart from the one supplied with the starter kit, and extension cables etc for the old version won’t fit.
