LEGO Lanzadera Espacial

Picked this up to treat myself after a long week at work for a pizza and LEGO night. Took me about 20 minutes to finish and honestly for being 144 pcs it was a bigger footprint than I was expecting. The price was very relieving as someone who mostly sticks to Star Wars. Would recommend this to all my fellow space nerds out there. Will look great on my desk come Monday morning!

I have always been a fan of NASA’s Shuttle program. This set definitely caught my eye at my local Walmart. As mentioned in other reviews, the size of the shuttle was larger than expected! Building it was super fun. My only issue was that I could not get the satellite to “snap” into place as it lie in the cargo bay. I had to add a 1x2 flat brick to make it fit securely onto the bay’s floor. What was really fun was being able to place the extra pieces into the bay. I added landing gear, from a vintage set which was a nice touch. Lastly, I was pleased with the $10.00 price for this set.

I love this lego set. I always be fascinated with space, planets and astronaut. For me is a must have.

It was my son’s first building set with instructions it is not too long to complete and pretty simple. The assembly of the astronauts is tricky because of the small components of the arms and leg it challenges is patience and dexterity. He really enjoys the moving parts in the space shuttle. He loves building it and taking it apart multiple times.
