Bright and light. this flashlight is made durable. It is a simple flashlight, turn it on and off..... thats it. So if you are looking for one with variable outputs or strobe or SOS this is not for you. Overall I do recommend it.

It stopped working dependably the very first time I used it, within less than an hour. Within an hour of use it began to randomly turn off without warning. If you turned it off then back on it would be on again for a moment, but usually turn back off within half a minute. This is a consistent problem I have had with Maglite products lately. The last three Maglites I bought, all of different models, had simillar problems within a very short time of use. This case was the fastest.
