DeWalt Taladro atornillador a batería, DCD796D2-QW

I purchased this drill for use on my job. I run into many types of building materials throughout the day and it's nice to have one too to use on them all. From wood to transite to masonry, I have no worries about what tool to take with me, because this baby does it all! The battery has a long life (I USUALLY only have to charge it once a week) and having the spare battery is helpful for those times I just forget to charge. From the occasional household user to the hardcore daily user, you can't go wrong with this set.

Generally a solid tool. Only complaint is that the forward/reverse button is so close to a “natural” hold that my trigger finger unintentionally depress the button on a regular basis kicking the tool into reverse. A screw can quickly reverse out and fall to the ground, etc. Kinda frustrating

Everything was fine for one day. Second day drill would not work at all, drill was dead (other than the light would strobe one time with each pull if the trigger) with either fully charged battery. Talked to Dewalt customer service for 15 minutes and was told to return it to the seller.

I bought this product and used it for the first time 5 months after my purchase, it did not work and I called amazon and they said I only had a 30 day return warranty but I could take it to a repair shop that was on their list. The repair shop told me it was the battery but the battery works in my other dewalt products. Amazon will not replace this product. My advice is to buy all your electric tools locally where your can get a replacement if it doesn't work. Amazon doesn't care.

My brother found it as a great replacement to his old corded model.
