Replaced a failing 120mm fan, and this is a quiet fan! i would replace all my case fans with it. Then the only loud fans would be the video card.

I purchased a set of two fans back in 2013 and have been in multiple gaming system iterations since then, they run at minimum RPM at idle and they are inaudible. At max RPM (1200) they are still extremely quiet and move a ton of air. They do not have an annoying whine at max RPM and is very tolerable without headphones on.

I've gone through a lot of fans over the last 20 years. I kept seeing this fan recommended and figured how quiet could it be, I've seen them all. Well I got tired of the noise from my Corsair 120mm case fan even running at the lowest speed the MB would allow. This one is quieter even at full power. My office is a lot less noisy now, wish I had tried one sooner.

I installed two of these on the top of my case to pull are away from the CPU cooler. Used the y-adapter to connect both to the CPU_OPT port on my mobo. Used some of the additional accessories for another computer in the house. Highly Recommended.

-Highly recommend as a case fan. (Quiet, decent airflow, low static pressure) -If you are looking for a radiator/heatsink fan, look at the P12 or F12 models. They have much higher static pressure. -Was replacing old Lian Li case fans, these are keeping my case about 2°C cooler on average, for what my uncalibrated ear sensor says is a little less than half the noise. :) -I would love if Noctua offered some other color scheme option(s)...my wife: "whoa, it looks like it came out of a diaper, how much did you pay for those?" -(Later: "wow, those are really quiet! Fans make that big of a difference?" Ha.)
